Serguei Telenkov has become a familiar figure at Chicago-area Ice Shows, appearing in recent months at the Winnetka Ice Arena, Robert Crown Ice Center, and Southwest Ice Arena.

But this native of St. Petersburg, Russia has made his mark around the world. He was the Latvian National Champion in 1998 and 1999 and has competed in the European Championships twice and in the World Championships twice.

Serguei has been residing in the Chicago area since 1997.  His parents and two sisters live in Russia.  Serguei's favorite skater is his friend, Alexei Urmanov.
